The NUEA is a not-for-profit, entirely volunteer-run organization dedicated to advancing the careers of NU alumni in the entertainment industry. The vitality of the NUEA depends on support from our members and from the volunteers that run our board and lend a hand at our events.

Here are a few examples of ways to get involved with the NUEA West:

• Volunteer with check-in at a panel or mixer that you plan to attend
• Lend a hand organizing established programming like the Writers Group or Peer Groups
• Create a column or feature for our new NUEA West blog!
• Volunteer for our LA|NU Showcase, helping with marketing, house management, or lighting and sound
• Lending your photography, videography, or social media skills to help us keep a better record of our great events
• Plan a panel or mixer; or start a new event or program that you think the we should offer!

If you’re interested in volunteering, fill out the form below! If you’re not sure what you might want to help out with, no problem — we can put you on our general volunteer list. Whenever we have an event where a few extra hands are needed, you will be sent an e-mail, and hopefully you will be available to help out. Interested volunteers are also welcome and encouraged to attend NUEA board meetings to see what events and programs we are currently working on!

Volunteering with the NUEA West is a great way to get involved in our NU entertainment community! Plus, you never know who you might meet when working a panel, showcase, or other event!
