The Hollywood Temp Diaries is a blog by anonymous NU alum Temp X. Sign up on the site to receive job listings, and of course there is a comprehensive list of entertainment temp agencies on the site as well!
From the man/woman him/herself: Temps are the lowest life form in Hollywood. They are lower than assistants. Lower than those in the mail room. Lower than everyone. Why? Because they are completely disposable. You don’t like the temp. Get a new one. (Oh and we don’t get health insurance, paid vacation, 401k, etc.) I am one of those barnacles on the hull of the good ship “Hollywood.” These are my stories.
From script to screen, and the million pieces between, information is the fuel that drives every project, and every decision that makes this industry thrive.
It is the information that can be directly linked to everything that happens in this industry; whether it’s knowing who’s buying what, who’s looking to star in what kind of project, what studio just lost a comedy and needs a replacement, or which writer is looking for a new rep, which spec is getting the most heat, or which exec is looking for a new home. Information is the most important element of every decision made, and those with it, have become the most influential players in the powerhouse that is… Hollywood!
And that is the driving force behind what Tracking Board delivers, and what has made us the #1 stop for writers, agents, producers, managers and executives alike.
