Cold Cut Pilot Competition

Co-sponsored by The Blacklist, the Cold Cut is NUEA’s unique new live comedy competition for original TV pilot scripts. NU alumni actors and directors will stage the opening scene(s) – known as the Cold Open – from nine finalist scripts penned by alumni writers. The audience then votes Battle of the Bands-style on their favorite Cold Open. After intermission, the winner that makes the “cut” receives a full reading of its entire script that night and other prizes.

Featured wrtiers are Farhan Arshad, Cara Danielle Brown, Jeff Burdick, Maggie Fish, Jessica Golden, Josh Inch, Eugene Ramos, Michael Salomon, and Andrew Thomas.

Also featuring a surprise appearance by NU alum and comedy legend Garry Marshall!
